We are mired in probably a slightly disappointing season due to injuries, but with reason for hope. I have watched for 40 years and have still not watched more than a few games more than casually since Crean started to be the real Crean. Nothing to ever get excited about since, and just an awful product on the floor under Crean.
IU basketball is your winter drug in IN to get you through, and until it reaches that expectation again it will never be back. I like Archie, but am not sold at all. Until we start having the same expectations of old, we are far from relevant, and hell I'd rather have salted the driveway tonight earlier and avoided more frustration than watch us play bad ball.
We are just not that talented other than Romeo and Rob, at least what see's the court or will this year. A Creaning of Crean-era and reset might be needed, but willing to give Archie a chance still.
