It was more the when

We had a couple momentum swings squelched by a turnover.

"and Troy lost the ball"

But still needed single digits... lost ball at key times... PUers dictated the style and tempo of the game... we could not play their game last night.

Anyone surprised Troy had 2 TO's?

They must count losing the ball on the drive as a missed shot. I thought he would have at least matched his total of 5 in the previous game.

They had a good game plan and executed it. You are right about the turnovers, it wasn't so much about the number of them but WHEN they made them. That's the same for most games. Even in single digit TO's, at key points of the game can turn wins into loses.

Troy had 2 TO's?

yes, it was surprising. Looking through the play-by-play, I guess it's correct. Perhaps the missed shots or some were called steals or blocks, but it sound like he had quite a few.

I also was surprised that we has 20 more FGA than Purdue. I guess many of the shots were 2nd and 3rd chance? We made two less FG than Purdue.
