Here's a couple decent summaries:

D1Baseball’s Aaron Fitt reported that two unvaccinated NC State players tested positive for COVID-19 this week in Omaha. Per the guidelines, that prompted the NCAA to then test the entire Wolfpack roster, including the vaccinated players. Four NC State players then tested positive, and the NCAA made the no-contest ruling for Saturday’s game.
So, to be clear, the NCAA decided that these four vaccinated players that supposedly tested positive for COVID (sorry if I'm still skeptical over the testing accuracy) were more of a risk than all of the (supposedly) vaccinated, unmasked fans at the CWS? Despite those players risk of transmission, even if four of them somehow tested positive for COVID, being materially reduced and the game being played outdoors, the NCAA did something even worse.
The NCAA clearly is only looking out for its pocketbook and I hope the players sue it for damages caused by emotional distress, as there is sure to be plenty.
Also, blasting out the decision over Twitter at 2:10am seems like a poor way of handling the notification.
