Archie going with 11 scholarship players

I’ll dissect something for you. At no point did anyone advocate for firing a coach every three years. Archie should get fired next year if he doesn’t have a top 25ish next year. I’d hate for you to have the mental fortitude to have competing thoughts. You could also try to post something interesting and thought provoking besides knocking down straw men arguments. I think the real truth is you’re a troll and have/had several handles.

I'm a troll for being a completely rational person who thinks a coach should get more than 3 years to build and develop a roster full of guys he recruited before rushing to judgement that he is/isn't the guy?

Got it. If that's the case my permanent residence is under the bridge.

Good thing Archie came along to get Morgan on track.
I remember Archie talking very early that he challenged Juwan to be a scorer and break from the role he had played in his first two years. I was concerned that his production would increase enough to make a difference. It took a few games, but Morgan did exactly what Archie asked him to do. Morgan was a better player because of it.

Is Thompson, Davis or other returning players going to have a similar break out? We have several that could. I dream of two or three players like Morgan on the same team.

I'd go with disingenuous instead of rational. You're changing your stance, once again, like you did with your "semi-crazy" claim. I do owe you an apology if your still posting here next year for the troll statements.

It’s true Archie’s seat will be warm next year. Here are his first two seasons:
2017-2018: 116-15 (9-9) / 6th in BT / No tourney
2018-2019: 19-16 (8-12) / 9th in BT / NIT

Scenario #1
He pulls a Bryce Drew. Drew had begun to recruit well, but his results were too bad to live with. In this case, I think Archie should be terminated. I could see this happening at Georgia.
Bryce Drew
2016-2017: 16-19 (10-8) / 5th in SEC / NCAA 1st Rnd
2017-2018: 12-20 (6-12) / 13th in SEC / No tourney
2018-2019: 9-23 (0-18) / 14th in SEC / No tourney

Scenario #2
They miss the NCAA’s as a bubble team. Archie’s system is more recognizable and young players show promise for the future, but they aren’t able to win enough big games. His elite recruitment of Indiana continues. I think he should get a fourth year.

Scenario #3
Anything beyond making the tournament. This puts him on schedule, and many of the posters on this board would be eating crow.

Scenario #1

I agree.

Scenario #2

I disagree. I think we should move on to the next coach and have a new A.D. making the decision (Yes, I know Archie/Fred won't get fired if we are a bubble team). I also wouldn't classify our recruiting as elite.

Scenario #3

I obviously agree he isn't getting fired. No one needs to eat crow. The objective is to win a title. If that happens, I'll gladly eat crow. I'm sure I'll be drunk enough you would be able to talk me into having sex with @Wall2Boogie's wife (aka his cute sister).

Hey now, find your own sister

I think it's funny that the trolls call other people trolls. Your posts have been the opposite of trolling and the guy you responded to is a troll that I now have on ignore.
