Fing hell. Finally an interesting post. i was wondering if we'd ever get one. Okay without going into details that might compromise you can you please elaborate on this training. and if you can provide some background on your kills (numbers, circumstances) that'd be great too to the extent you're comfortable
Well, this probably fits in with your
@snarlcakes , thread better.
I started fighting something off about last Tuesday. I work nights right now. Went to work Monday at 6pm. Started feeling like shit about midnight, no fever. Ran on about 3 hrs sleep a day all week and worked Friday night. Headache, heavy head, all stuffed up.
Sunday fever starts, feel like crap, nothing makes sense. Wife takes me to ER when I hit 103. Back before we were married I let a fever go to 107 before she dragged me in. Still cant live that down.
Anyway, bacterial sinus infection that led to sepsis, caught early though, thankfully. I was hallucinating and delirious. I'm doing ok now. Worked tonight, getting ribs and chicken ready to smoke later.
As far as this post, no confirmed kills. Being 100% serious though, I was involved in a situation in fall 2017 where someone, my neighbor (thats been confirmed), was drunk and doing shrooms and thought it would be funny to call the cops on me. For brevity, I had been broken into a month before, small town local cop didn't announce, thought I had home invader, 130 am. In my house I can see though my kitchen French doors from a hallway opening, so I dropped to a knee and pied the corner with my AR and from about 20 ft me and this dude are aiming at each other.
I've been shot at by some dipshit while deer hunting. Looking at the business end has a different feeling though. Officer and I bro'ed it out. No hard feelings.
Back when I was more mobile and when mma was on pay-per-view, when you had dudes like Dan Severn, Don "The Predator" Frye, side note, Don did not give a ****, he would have fought a German Tiger Tank, the Gracie Clan, Tank Abbott. Anyway, Ken Shamrock was my favorite, I started lifting and training with my cousin. We did the jui jujitsu stuff. I've been shooting since I was 5, been brought up well by family who've been there, done that and shared knowledge and skills.
Seeing a dead or dying body is a hell of a thing. I've never put one there thankfully but I can say I have saved one life, and helped a stranded couple and their kid on the side of the road.
Doesn't matter if you like Rogan or not. Great podcast w/Jason Everman.
