Another bizarre accident

Lost power? Sailing ship?

Admirals Nelson, Jones, Aloha etc. wonder about this.
Those sailing ships (tall ships) operated by Navy's like Mexico and Chile (among others) have auxiliary propulsion which they typically use (probably always use) when entering and exiting ports. That ship was using auxiliary propulsion (diesel engine) when it had the mishap. You can see in the video that the sails were furled.

One of my closest lifelong friends is a cop. I have represented more than a hundred cops. My family were in the military. Dad and uncles Vietnam.

None of them would describe themselves as trained killers. What we have with sweet silence is something very different. Contract killer. Assassin. Paid by the gov. Paid by the mob. Hard to say. But what I do know is that when you have done what he’s done your view of life is different. It’s not fair for us to judge
Don't deny me my line on my resume.

Of course they're trained killers. I think your definition is someone trained to kill without a conscience.

when you consider what we've amassed on the Dream Team it's almost unbelievable. it truly is a dream team. foreign language intelligence experts. check. trained assassins check. high level mechanics check. currency gurus check. vintage aircraft experts who could repurpose same and get them in the air with an actual pilot. check. it's unreal. numbers is our only concern

We can't sacrifice expertise with lowered standards, however, just to get numbers.

We're like the Ukraine of the Cooler.

doesn't french lick have some great resort or course or something?
There's the house Larry built for his mom, complete with the concrete driveway he poured himself that ended his NBA career when he hurt his back.

Have stayed in both hotels...quite relaxing..
Also the Pete Dye redesigned golf course.
1830 Steak House is quite tasty..
Close Mas.
Pete Dye was an all new course built @2008 or so. Absolutely terrific course if you’re willing to pay $380 for a round of 18. The Donald Ross is a great old course that was refurbished about the same time. Hosted a major championship or two back in the 1920’s, Walter Hagan won there. Tough course, I’ve eaten at dining room tables bigger than some of the greens.
1875 is the steakhouse Mas is alluding to.

Both the French Lick & West Baden resorts are neat old places, but not destinations for a man of the world such as yourself.

Concur. Killing during wartime is our business so of course we're trained killers. Some of us were trained to do our killing from a good distance. I did get "non-lethal" training which included hand to hand to whatever is available to club someone with, but never expected to use it. "Non-lethal" just makes it sound nice though, much of it was definitely lethal if need be.

Killing during wartime
exactly. that's the impt distinction that you and @DANC are missing. you've both received "training" on combat, how to use a weapon, all within the context of the rules of engagement.

that bears little resemblance to being a trained killer like sweet silence. operating outside of the rules of engagement. outside of the boundaries of war. eliminating when called upon for pay.

let's be honest. there's you and danc

and then there's sweet silence. not. the. same.

I get your point. My naivety led me to assume we were dealing with some sort of law abiding citizen.

And you're right, even the snipers in law enforcement and military wouldn't call themselves a "trained killer"... my bad on that one.

I think we probably have some sort of Dexter on our hands here.
