Does it matter, if he had played, he probably would have played poorly as the rest of the team and he usually does. I think he has potential, but this staff seems unable to develop him. He can shoot, but his set and release are way too slow for B10. He also needs better handles. He's also is pretty athletic, so if he were a real threat to shoot and they close out on him, he should go by them. None of that is happening though.

Yep, he can shoot... it's the making part that he struggles with. Seriously, I don't like to rag on our own players, but I've seen nothing, NOTHING out of him that makes me believe he can play at this level. He can shoot? Nope. Look at the numbers. He's athletic? Not that I've seen, especially not for this level. Needs a better handle? Yep. Subpar defender? Yep. Doesn't drive or have any midrange game? Yep. So where exactly do you see this potential?

Wait, I know. He's a nice kid right? I'm tired of a team full of nice kids. We need someone that isn't so nice on the court, and have for quite awhile.

When we recruited him, I certainly noticed from you tube videos that he never elevated on his shot.

I assumed that that would be something college coaches would change.

I assumed wrong.
