American Airlines plane crash

Can you rule out that the pilots were concerned with their soon role in the invasion of Greenland and that distraction caused it? Can you rule out the Russians have a system that messes with avionics, and the chopper's systems were reading 200 feet in a hit on the Russian figure skaters on the plane? Right, it is all "possible", there isn't a need to mention all 1 million possible things it could be. We'll find out in due time.
Hope you're right. Remember, the FBI promised answers on the Vegas shooter. We never got any just lots of conspiracy theories. Wonder why.

Hope you're right. Remember, the FBI promised answers on the Vegas shooter. We never got any just lots of conspiracy theories. Wonder why.

What answers? The guy didn't write down why he did it, so the FBI cannot provide it. This is difficult for some to grasp, not everything has an answer.

Fair. But if vision is that poor and it's that dangerous why are they conducting a night exercise right by a busy airport where planes are constantly landing and taking off? And why were they flying so high?

People need answers to those questions and hopefully the investigation will answer them. If not, you're going to get conspiracy theories.

See, being a reasonable person asking reasonable questions is not that difficult.

If one of my family members died on that crash, I would be very vocal about telling him to shut the f*&k up.

It was a tragic accident and him offering pot shots from the peanut gallery aren't going to do anything to help. I don't believe this was an intentional accident, so trying to drag someone through the mud is complete and utter bullshit. Yes, there should be an investigation and yes better protocols and safety measures should be developed to prevent this from happening again.

Trump acting like he has anything meaningful to add to that investigation is at best a distraction and at worst potentially harmful. If there is any way at all to pin a fatal error on someone who could even slightly be considered a DEI hire, no one would be surprised if the craziest of the MAGA cult started harassing that person's family for their deceased loved one causing this accident.

Go ahead, dbm, post the BS about the pilot being trans. It's viral and 100 percent false, but you don't care about the truth at all.
Social media is the 21st Century's National Enquirer. The problem is it's seen by exponentially more people than that rag was, and the algorithms pull the users in deeper. There are studies reflecting that people who live on social media (like many here) experience brain changes that mimic other addictions, and that it affects attention span and critical thinking. In other words, it causes brain rot and is a major contributing factor in the dumbing down of America. It's a public health crisis.

Everything dbm laps up on social media he regurgitates here. There are millions of others, though, including several/many here, who are just as hooked. They're just not advertising it or even aware of it.

You are thick as a brick. When I called you the dumbest poster in WC history, I nailed it.
He's kind of like the Cal Ripken of Water Cooler stupid. He consistently shows up day after day reaffirming his stupidity. His streak is now so long it'll be nearly impossible for anyone to catch him.

Nope didn’t believe that. But good to see a statement. Transparency is what is needed. That’s all anyone asks for.

That's a great point. Family members are grieving the sudden and tragic loss of a loved one. They don't need this shit on top of it. And if social media influencers keep up the "intentional act" drumbeat, the family members' lives could be at risk.

I’m referring to this one here that you can see in front taking off. I assume they saw that and thought that was the plane the ATC warned them about. But they were staring right at the plane they eventually hit. Crazy.

You're not a real, serious person. There is no way you're not just someone who gets his weird kicks by posting outrageous stuff and being called a moron all day. I'm not here to kink shame - you do you - but damn, you bring a whole other level of insane stupidity to the board.

Yep. I wish we lived in a world where this could be dismissed as hyperbole and an overreaction, but almost no one would be surprised if families aren't harassed before this is all said and done.

Marv made a comment earlier and alluded to something about a poster that I wasn't aware of.

All we usually have here are the words/viewpoints/opinions of others. (Some people do provide personal information but I'm sure much of it is bullshit). We know little to nothing about their background, history, health, finances, family status, etc. Actual awareness of current circumstances would (might?) lead to more understanding, tolerance and civility.

I am sure the front lines of Jade Helm and the Battle of Bowling Green were rough.

I feel for Mas, seeing what he saw and going through what he went through is certain PTSD and the paranoia that comes with it. I've said before, I saw that paranoia in my Vietnam Vet brother. I'm unsure what history DBM has, but something isn't working right to have that much hypervigilance.
You're despicable.
'..certain PTSD...'
'...paranoia...'

No attempts to smear veterans (especially highly successful and respected in their community, as I am) are beneath you.

As I posted before, I pity your brother...but not you.

And some are just miserable humorless assholes. In life and on here bc I’m quite sure they’ve never done a single extraordinary thing. So they go through life jealous of those with descended balls

I think that's a fair statement. Maybe my comment was a little too much.

That said, I feel like for the most part, I'm as much of an open book here as anyone. I've mentioned and shared things about my personal life mostly because I feel like if I'm going to engage with people regularly, I'm not really interested in hiding behind a keyboard. I've connected with some posters on these boards through private messages, texts and phone calls. I've suggested an eventual group meeting, but that didn't seem to be well-received. I really and truly don't have anything to hide and don't really care if people know more about me than simply what I post here.

Yup. Hell I have real life friends on the board. Who know every last thing. For 30 years. Some people just marvel that others don’t live a life of tedium

Smear a veteran, I am giving you one hell of a benefit of the doubt. You posted long ago about Jews starting the war against the Nazis. It would be easy to dismiss you as just a standard run-of-the-mill antisemitic neo-Nazi. But I don't think that is it. I think you are another casualty of that damn war.

And I think you are a thoughtless victim of mainstream media and the failed American educational system. I posted provable historical facts about FDR and his advisors, among other verifiable history.
You reek of ignorance and arrogance, any ugly combination in any instance.

I am not missing that, I flatly pointed out I expected the policy change so you haven't heard me complain about them (until things go to hell). He deserves the right to do the wrong things he said he was going to do. Except for RFK, I am moot on his policies until results are known.

My point is we could have had those policies AND someone who doesn't have athlete's foot of the tongue from sticking his foot in his mouth all the time. That was an option. People decided they wanted the crazy.

A person dates two women that are both 8s. One is nice, polite, smart. The other is a diva and will stab someone rather than look at them. They marry the second. That's there fault. The GOP wanted the second one. They wanted the crazy.
77 million voters wanted Trump. He was far superior to Harris.

CNN had this up:

“We do see other lights in the area, particularly one bright light from another aircraft, when the air traffic control tower asked the helicopter, ‘Do you have the plane in sight?’” Mary Schiavo, an aviation analyst and former inspector general of the Department of Transportation, told CNN’s Kasie Hunt on Friday.
“The first time I looked at that video, I focused on the moving light, not the stationary light, which actually wasn’t stationary. It’s just a matter of vantage point. There’s a concern that the helicopter pilot may have focused on the brighter, moving light and mistaken it for the plane he was supposed to track,” she added.
Flying at night presents challenges for pilots, Schiavo noted: “When you fly at night, the movement of lights is where you focus first, and you have to learn that may be a distraction.”
So they may have mistaken a brighter light for the closer plane? I am sure the brain wants to do that, equate brightness with closeness. Just speculation, don't put too much into it, but IF true it helps explain.

Mayor Pete:

We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch,” Mr. Buttigieg said. “Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.”

Forgiveness? Can you imagine Trump ever asking for anyone’s forgiveness? Me neither.

Love? I’m a frequent blood donor. I’m strong, healthy, monogamous and drug-free, so my donations are always gladly accepted. If, by some extraordinary set of circumstances, Trump ever needed my blood, I’d roll up my sleeve and ask “where’s the phlebotomist?”After his transfusion, though, I might mess with his head by lying and telling him that, prior to my donation, I had a wild weekend of unprotected sex with an assortment of LGBTQ people. Lol.
He'd already assume that by looking at you.

So insufficient answers must engender a conspiracy theory?

Nobody "got" conspiracy theories. People invented them because it sells on social media. Like when you said yesterday that the pilot was a woman with only 500 hours of flight experience. Literally a completely made up story.

Faux Christian. The worst
More importantly, Arsenal is once again going to shit the january transfer portal bed. They have known for 8 months they needed a striker--and nothing is gonna happen. Doesn't look like they will have ANY incoming transfers.

I guess they crapped out on Watkins from Villa?. Unrelated but I was watching champions and Europa this week and it’s insane to see the difference in payrolls. Atalanta is amazing with what they routinely accomplish with 25 percent of the payroll of the big boys

Sorry, the Kangaroo Court has to sanction you on this one. $7.50.

There is nothing more diabolical than recommending someone “read” Ulysses. You really need to re-examine that one.

What’s next? Pushing the lyrical and poetic singing of Yoko Ono?
