I like that young man, but he certainly is the poster child for the final Woody season.
Given his injury, I don’t think Reneau should be on that list.
Reneau might have been auditioning for the next coach on Saturday. Finally looked a little bit like himself again. And he showed an edge and aggressiveness that I could get behind...if I thought it was going to become the norm, and not occassional.
big part of that is he played 30+ min while Ballo only 19. The two cannot be on the court at the same time. Bogs down everything on offense, and slows us down on defense.
For once MR played 20+ min and didn't foul out.
He played that many minutes because of his energy and engagement. He's our best overall player when he plays like that.
I still shake my head over how wrong I was about Carlyle. Thought 'he's at that age he can make a nice gain by this coming season, and will be just what we need'. Thought his game would be strong. Uhhh, yeah, good take I had on that one.
A lot of the guys we have though, could learn and do well, with a good head coach. Coach Woodson is OK with bigs I guess.

Maybe Harper from Rutgers, but that list is pretty solid.
I always thought it would be a great charity event to take the first and second all-conference teams and have a 4-team conference all-star game at Gainbridge featuring B10 vs SEC and ??? vs ???.
