Be very glad IU doesn't have a coach like the one representing the B10 elsewhere in the State. Bulgy-eyed, overwrought, spluttering blob of angst - looks like a cerebral hemorrhage in waiting.

Texas won. The other team is a sprained ankle away from the NIT or the CBI.

NIT or CBI? If he goes down, they don't win another game. Or, more to the point: an early preview of what next season will look like.

Haven't seen them play yet but several over there say that RP "settled" for IU because he would ride the bench in Laffy.

Well I love that big ole plate of bacon over there, and hope they keep him for life. Now CAM needs to inform Izzo to find a new state to pluck, because these borders are shut down.

Bulgy-eyed? What gives you that idea?

Not idea - direct observation. When really worked up looks like his head might explode or his eyes burst out of their sockets.

I am just glad the parents of our players stay the heck away from the message boards. Nojel's Mom is putting bulletin board material up on their forum right now about Phinessee and inviting a whole mess of attention if we win on January 19th....

I recall when Troy's mom took to Twitter for a couple of days. It grabbed a lot more attention than this because it was IU, but Crean and Troy got it stopped quickly. This Easterday woman is a shit show.

Gene Keady taught him everything he knows, which hasn’t been enough. Keady never made a serious dent in the NCAA tournament either. Both as coaches, always seeming to be pretty good but certainly never great. That is why they coach there so long without the athletic director making a change and that is fine with IU fans.

As long as their pinnacle in athletics is beating IU now and again while chanting about IU at every event including campus bible study...they will always be a pretender. Always.

“...including campus bible study”, damn, you people crack me up and are on a roll.

The fairly common perception was that Hunter was as good as RP. It's been pleasantly surprising how ready RP was to play immediately. Hunter doesn't seem quite so ready.
