Cignetti vs. Woodson

Coach Cig

-talented players
-disciplined
-working toward the same goals
-no nonsense
-a joy to watch

“Coach” Wood

-talented players
-undisciplined
-seem to play for themselves
-total nonsense
-watching makes me fell like I’m in hell

Coach Cignetti will not always have the success he is having this season. You won’t always have a Rourke running the show. But his teams will always be well coached. They will nearly always be in the right spot. They won’t have many undisciplined penalties. They will play above the sum of their parts. I’m guessing they finish in the top third, definitely top half of the BIG each year and always be bowl eligible.

Coach Woodson will be what he is, a middling coach who team lack discipline, seem selfish or disinterested and almost always play below the some of their parts. He will buy great talent each year and consistently underperform. IU basketball will luck into some success during his tenure, but for the most part…IU basketball is done until they are able to hire a “real” basketball coach.

What are some other difference y’all see.
