Thank GOD someone is excited about IU. I wish we had more Ahfeld's...
on the team and in the stands. There are so many stupid a$$ fans who don't cheer and who are too cool for school. I'm glad that there is a kid on the bench who practices daily knowing he will never play that has decided to be a leader on the team by cheering his teammates on. Maybe he is over the top with enthusiasm, but I'd take him over kids like Patterson, Wright, Killer, and other talented players who could've cared less about what it meant to be an Indiana basketball player. I'm so tired of watching Indiana teams finish 18-11 with a bunch of guys who look like they take ambien before the game. It's good to see some emotion and some excitement for our program and about winning. Hell, every single possession in every single game is important and the lack of that mentality is the reason we've been so freaking average for 10 years. Let's be excited and kick the crap out of some people like we did yesterday and not apologize to anyone for it. It's Indiana versus the world, baby.

Senior leadership and the value of his role at practice is pretty hard for us to estimate. I'm willing to believe that he is a big part of why we are hustling like we do now. And I don't think even Sampson could have gotten that attitude from Bracey.
