Should be a great opportunity for a bounce back win. The Aces are not very good-a far cry from what they were in the Fred Schmaltz glory days. I remember being at the NCAA quarterfinal in 1990 when the tough Aces defense shut down Yeagleys boys and advanced to the College Cup.
I’m really glad Yeags emptied the bench in the 2nd half and got in every player who is eligible and not red-shirting. So many great high school players come to IU and wait on the bench a long time until it’s their turn. Pretty cool to see Kapsalis score in his debut. A laugher like this is what these guys needed after the debacle in Maryland last week.
