This is the most upsetting of the issues surrounding the play-offs scenario:
Regarding the IU/ND game, "Chris Vannini of The Athletic reported that playoff hosts will handle the first-round games similar to a home game.
'Visiting teams will receive 3,500 tickets, with a maximum of 500 of those available to the band,” Vannini wrote. “The fans can be split up into no more than two blocks, with at least 1,500 in the lower bowl. The visiting team will decide where its band sits, but it must have access to the field.'
Why isn't this game equivalent to a bowl game?...........because it could well be our only post season game (bite my tongue). There are roughly 77,600 seats, and we get 3,500?!! And of those, 3,000 for our "bowl" game fans?!!! That's total horsesh*t!
I'm assuming (and hoping) that the revenue sharing is different. Anyone know?
