Indiana's non-conference schedule is starting to fill in.
On Friday morning it was confirmed that Indiana will play host to North Carolina in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 30.
North Carolina is widely regarded as the preseason No. 1 team in the country going into the season. It returns likely preseason All-American First-Team selection Armando Bacot, third-year guards Caleb Love and RJ Davis and also a fifth-year senior in Leaky Black. It also adds Northwestern transfer forward Pete Nance to its lineup.
Indiana last played UNC in the ACC/Big Ten challenge in 2016, when the Hoosiers won 76-67 in Bloomington. Indiana is 3-1 against UNC in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and 9-6 all-time against the Tar Heels.
Indiana also has Arizona and Kansas on the schedule for the second week of December and still the Gavitt Games (Big East) that hasn't announced its matchups yet. It is expected to be a top-tier team in the Big East (Creighton/Villanova/Providence).

This weekend is the another live period in June and that means coaches will be out on the road.
I would expect Mike Woodson to be at the NEPSAC live session for 2023 four-star forward
TJ Power.
The DMV live session at Dematha is back and I would expect Indiana to be back there like last weekend for 2023 four-star wing
Jamie Kaiser and 2024 wing
Khani Rooths among some others.
The NHSBCA live session in Georgia is another event that Indiana should be making an appearance at.
The big event in the midwest/Indiana is the Charlie Hughes Shootout at Carmel/Westfield. TheHoosier.com is told the Indiana staff will be there as well.
We will have more on that below.

2023 five-star Cathedral (Ind.) forward
Xavier Booker is becoming more of a priority for Indiana. Following his unofficial visit to Indiana last week, Indiana made a few appearances, including Mike Woodson, at the live period to see Booker.
Indiana is ramping up its pressure of the No. 2 overall prospect.
Right now, Booker is on a junior year official visit to Notre Dame.
Moving forward, Indiana, Duke, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Kansas, Gonzaga, Ohio State, Purdue, Louisville are the main group looking to secure an official visit from him during his senior year. As things stand now, Indiana has a good shot to land one of the five senior year officials he can take.
To recap, Booker took a junior year official visit to Indiana and two unofficial visits since last summer. That is the second most trips he has taken to any program, behind Michigan State.
Indiana is expected to see Booker again this weekend.

2023 four-star Wheeler (Ga.) forward
Arrinten Page was at USA Basketball tryouts for the U17 team this past week so visits were put on hold.
He told TheHoosier.com this week that at this moment, he doesn't have any more plans to take junior year official visits. He has visited Cincinnati, USC and Missouri for junior year visits.
Indiana is pushing hard to get him on campus this fall but a recent uptick in Xavier Booker has 'slowed down' a bit of the pressure on Page. Indiana is still very much active here, however.
Cincinnati is a team to watch in this one.
---
2023 four-star Worcester (NH) wing/forward
TJ Power is a name you know. Indiana continues to be in a top group for him.
He told TheHoosier.com that he is holding off on visits until the fall and doesn't expect to take all five senior year official visits.
He has been on recent official visits to Virginia and Notre Dame. Indiana and Power decided to move his planned visit a bit later when he is closer to making a decision.
The main group involved here are Virginia, Notre Dame, Indiana, Providence, Virginia Tech and Boston College.

As for the Indy event this weekend, TheHoosier.com will be out on the road with a presence at Charlie Hughes among other events.
Notable prospects at Charlie Hughes include: 2023 five-star
Xavier Booker, 2024 wing
Kanon Catchings, 2024 guard
Jack Benter, 2025 guard
Jalen Haralson, 2025 forward

KJ Windham of Ben Davis and 2025 guard
