It seems to me that some folks weren’t sure he could tie his shoes for himself. I would not be surprised if he is another case of the ugly duckling. Speaking of underdogs, back to the football board and the undefeated Hoosiers.

For the last 30 years, it feels like after every election or two we get a spate of articles and public sentiment about how one party is dead or in shambles and might never win again. Recently, that’s led to a lot of overconfidence from the winning party and a desire for them to do too much while in power or in their messaging. I think the Dems did precisely that over the last 4 years.

Are Republicans now on the verge of doing the same? Will they push back on this kind of messaging that appears intentionally to have a sinister double meaning? Because if stuff like that his continues, they will poison the well (even more) with a generation of women voters.

Watching this game to get prepared for next week. So far the Buckeyes have not played particularly great. If they start like this next week we will be up big early. O line looks like the weakness on offense. Fast and physical receivers though. The LBs and safeties will have their work cut out for them over the middle. They go to the middle a lot.

Don’t know much about South Carolina other than they lost the season opener to North Florida. That can’t be good! Still, they are a major conference team so they must have some talent, which means I expect they’ll out up a fight.

Just hoping for a better start than we had the other night. We’re only a 7.5 point favorite and I expect the game to be close throughout. We pull away just enough at the end.
