Eating Cats/Dogs

Trump bringing up eating dogs (it was cats by the way) was brilliant. The problem is he can't expand on it like Vance below. Either way it still becomes a national topic that Harris let 20,000 Haitians invade an Ohio city. Congrats on winning a one-year membership to jelly of the month club. It's still going to be a great November.

Vultures and Smell Lead Couple to Body of I-75 Shooter

He was close to the spot of the shootings. Missed by hundreds of official police searchers. Cops tried to take credit during press conference. Home YouTube video showed couple was on their own. Reward will be paid. (Daniel Boone National Forest back in hands of weed farmers just in time for Fall harvest.)

RIP J.D. Souther...

Not going to lie, this one hurts. And is seemingly very unexpected as he just did a show 5 days ago, and was set to go out on the road with Karla Bonoff in the not too distant future...

Think of JD (along with Jackson Browne) as honorary Eagles. In fact JD co-wrote classics like New Kid in Town, Doolin-Dalton, Sad Cafe and later Heart of the Matter. from Henley's solo career. In fact he was one of the people in Linda Rondstadt's backing band and dated her for a while. She covered many of his songs, including Faithless Love. He also formed the Souther Hillman Furay Band and in 1981 had a duet with James Taylor on Her Town Too...With the ever relaible Waddy Wachtel and Lee Sklar...

And something that strikes me as very appropriate given the circumstances...

Here's an article posted today by cbssports.com on the B1G...

Their college beat writer Fornelli's article was pretty much dominated by IU talk with some other interesting B1G talk. Here's one stat that I didn't know. IU leads the B1G right now in percentage of snaps while holding a lead. Yeah, you can point to the competition up to this point, but a lot of other teams in the league have played similar teams. He also had glowing remarks about Rourke while mentioning he was disappointed when he saw Cincinnati sign Sorsby.

chick fil a

that is, one well run organization, they can afford to alienate the gays, the Lucy's and other groups, counted 28 vehicles in front of me when I got in line, had my sandwich in 7 minutes, never encountered or seen any employees with face tattoos or meth mouth. in contrast the burger king next door had 3 people in their line the last car was still there as I was leaving.

Here's the thing about this team....

I'm not sure we have a single 1st team ABT guy on this team, but we have an amazing # of solid/good/very good players who are productive, and the team is better than the sum of it's parts. I say 'amazing' because to bring this group of players together in year 1 is unreal.

Remember that guys on this forum doubted that the JMU could cut it......I thought they could but I don't know if I've ever seen a team were so many transfers came in and played to their talent level....

Vic clip

I’ve never seen this. Worth a share.

Vic is my second favorite Hoosier ever.

E-learning will be the death of me

School got canceled today so we have e-learning, which is horrible.

With my youngest being in 6th grade now and it being a Wednesday, she's got every flipping class today.

Shoot me in the face. I told her if she doesn't understand something, she needs to tell the teacher before her google meet is done or she better start emailing them.

I'm gonna get stuck doing this all day.

Road to the Playoffs

We likely need to be 10-2 to make the playoffs. We could realistically run the table before the Michigan and Ohio State games.

After Washington’s loss in the Apple Cup, everyone before Michigan visits looks beatable. Shit, even the Wolverines are a game we can win in Bloomington.

Would be amazing to have Purdue in town with a playoff birth in the line.

Going to be an amazing season! Now we just need people to show up and pack the place.

Watchable Big 10 games this WE

--Bama at Wisconsin

--Washington St. at Washington

--Oregon at Oregon St.

--ND at Purdue

--Indiana at UCLA

--Maryland at Virginia

Some comments:

--Overall, not a big WE for watchable games.

--Bama at Wisconsin could get ugly for Wisconsin. I think the transition from Barry Ball to LF has been more difficult than expected.

-- I feel like ND at Purdue is a real wild card. Just about anything could happen. If Purdue does beat ND, it could be the beginning of the end for MF.

--IU playing in the Rose Bowl. So interesting. For most BT fans probably the 3rd most interesting game this WE.

--Maryland loss at MSU was really a bad one. Their coach needs to win this one. Interest in the program has not recovered since they left the ACC.

--Washington at WSU--Rivalry games are always interesting. Washington stadium is a cool place.

--Oregon v. OSU--Oregon ripe for an upset?
