I am pumped for the SIUE game!

I just downloaded my ticket: Section 8, Row 2, Seat 23. I have sat in this area before and loved it. One year, the IU AD sat in front of me. Another year, I was directly behind the instant replay officials. And, my hotel is within walking distance of the Hall.

Any recommendations for good pizza? I have had Mother Bear pizza and I loved it. But this year I would like to try another place where I can eat in. Any suggestions?

Thoughts after 2 exhibition games

let me start out by saying Marian looked like an average HS Team

Ballo- Love him so far. Fills the middle. Rebounds, plays D, hangs around the bucket.
Rice- Best player on the team. Lighting quick in transition and can shoot.
Tucker- Only played against Marian but unlike Mgbako, a true 5 Star. He can shoot outside and create his own shot.
Goode- Very confident in his shot. Great form. One thing....the ball hasn't gone in yet
Mgbako- Looks the same as last year. We will see if he improves.
Galloway- no comment, injured. He might not get minutes if Tucker keeps getting better
Cupps- Can't play passive this year. Rice will take all his minutes
Reneau- He's looked really good. Would love to see him develop a 10ft jumper.
Carlyle, James, Newton, Hatton- remains to be seen

Tips for my First Disc Golf Tourney Tomorrow?

Eff politics and let's talk about what really matters. I'd love to hear your EXPERT tips/advice.

I'm playing in my first DG tournament tomorrow in the MA3 division with about 30 in our division. I hurt my throwing shoulder a few weeks ago so I'll be throwing 95% forehand (anything outside of 75-100 ft). Even with the handicap, my goal is to shoot Even for the tourney and, if I'm feeling ok, about -8 to win the damn thing for the Hoosier Nation.

Let me know what you think will help me make it to the podium and let the Colorado natives and other transplants know that Disc Golf is more than a game in Indiana.

Should I bring a Bluetooth speaker and loudly listen to Mellencamp on repeat?
Should I critique others' form?

Same playbook, different election

Sure, let's change the software right before or during the election..... but don't worry - they're not connected to the interwebz.

My question is: WTF kind of programming is needed to calculate votes. What else is going on with the software - what are the other functions are they supposed to do? And why are Dominion voting machines used to much in swing states?

This shit is getting old.

My wife and I at Michigan State game Nov 11, 1967

While I am 90 years old now, by 1967 I has become a IU football season ticket holder. Like IU now, IU's football history was terrible.one of the more recent hires Phil Dickens plunged the entire athletic program in despair resulting in an almost four year suspension because of recruiting violations. John Pont (I think from Yale or some Ivy league school) was hired....an the magical never before football success resulted. That my wife (who I met at IU-we just celebrated our 65th wedding anniversary) went to 7 games, home and away including the Rose Bowl.

Indiana was ranked 6th in the country--many people don't remember that Purdue was ranked 5th in the country. Mich St was having a down year with a 2 wins and 5 losses record. Still many thought IU was an underdog. IU's winning streak was by the following margins, 2,3,4,5,7, 13. The weather favored MSU, gray, rains, windy dark skies. INDIANA held on to win 14-13-the magic of Harry Gonzo prevailed. One play we remembered was John Isengarger punting for IU when MSU tried to take him out of the game with a illegal tackle after he had punted the ball, run John run became a chant for the season. Indiana attemped 18 passes and completed 9, but had two turnovers fumbles.

With 6 minutes left in the game IU trailed 13 to 7. Isenbarger after being knocked out of the game, drove the the Hoosiers to the winning touchdown and the IU dream season moved on. It was a memorable day for us-driving back to Chicago suburbs, stopping at Win Schulers for dinner was a great trip. 57 years have passed since then.

We saw two more games after that-at Minnesota and home to Purdue- still in my mind the greatest IU game we ever saw.

Women dominate early voting

The pundits are wrong. This is good news for Trump. These women are voting Daddy Trump, protector of women.

Trump's mass deportations coupled with tariffs would be a disaster for the economy....

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine recently came out and said that revoking the temporary asylum status of the Haitians in Springfield would mean the 'economic progress we have made at Springfield will go away.'

Given that Trump is talking about deporting as many as 20 million immigrants, I'd have to think the economic impact of decreasing the labor force by that much would mean a significant impact on the nationwide economy.

Couple that with CEOs coming out warning that if they're hit with tariffs they'll pass those costs onto consumers and I'm not sure how the average American benefits from an economy headed in the wrong direction and high prices due to tariffs.

I'd be interested in hearing why some of you support these policies.
