I really enjoyed the game. Here are some random thoughts that came to me during the game.

• MR has totally reshaped his body. Compared to last year he is a LEAN, MEAN, BASKETBALL MACHINE. He does not look ripped but he looks "low body fat lean". And, he looks a bit quicker and he has improved his handle.
• MM has also reduced his body fat and replaced it with muscle. He will be scoring option #1 this year and he scored at 3 levels.
• LG struggled with his shot not just from the arc but also from mid-range. However, he found some other ways to help the team without scoring.
• Do NOT pass the ball to OB below chest high.
• Gallow was the best ball handler on the court. 9 assists is "CC" good.
• I expect to see the offense look more organized in the next game.
• As the offense starts to click, I expect the # of 3 point shots taken will increase.
• Score board graphics were improved.
• I got to my seat 40 minutes early and I did not have to go to the bathroom even once. For me that was huge!!!!

My grandson. He is 2. Do I need to purchase ticket? It wasn't planned for him to go, but now it is.

Since evangelical (and what does that term even mean anymore?) Christianity and Trump have become inexplicably woven together, I’m curious how many Trump voters truly read and study the Bible. I’m not being judgmental at all if you don’t. Mine has collected dust for many years at a time through the years. There are great Muslims, great Jews, great atheists, etc… so this is not a proselytizing post. But I’ve read and studied a lot the past few years and I truly don’t see how there is a connection with Trump and Christianity. The words and teachings of Jesus, regardless of what your religious and philosophical thinking in, are in general mostly diametrically opposed to everything Trump says and stands for. I’m sure if anyone answers this will likely turn into a sh!t show like most every other thread, but I’m truly curious and trying to get some clarification so don’t say I don’t try

1. Transgender issue - Demand for/support for transgender education in elementary schools in Florida and elsewhere/penises in female sports and female locker rooms/"Harris supports free transgender surgery for inmates" commercial
2. Cost-of-living
3. 8 years of calling everyone deplorable, immoral, Nazis, fascists, racists and garbage
4. Call for taxing unrealized capital gains - another poke in the eye of the union family who now watches their 401k just like a 1%er
5. The Fredo Syndrome - "we're smart"

Just my opinions - why Democrats think Harris lost to Trump:

1. Identity politics addiction + No. 3 above - "she is a black female in a racist, misogynist nation full of Nazis and fascists and garbage"
2. Vote fraud
3. No legitimate reason

has a son on the SIUE team. I had no idea. IU recognized him during introductions. His mom was in the stands and she recieved quite the ovation. A nice moment at the Hall last night.
