Agree, as the young men are focused in their work-outs. Let's win the 4th quarter!
Offensive play is sure to be better this season while I expect defense to improve along with the offense.
I see the new staff has continued the trend of embracing black as our unofficial team color
I don't get excited about a workout. Every teams' guys are working out.
Not too worried about this season. We could improve a lot but have average or below average luck and win four games. Or we could improve a lot and have good luck and win eight.
I only have belief now that when things are wrong, the staff will figure out a reasonable plan to overcome it. Whether that's recruiting for the long term or whatever.
So, yeah though... TLDR, I guess I'm excited too!

I know but this just feels different.
It is different because this coaching staff has a track record of winning no matter where they were. I am eager to see them do it here at IU as there is talent to play better than the team did in the past few years.
There was enough on the roster to win 6 games in 2023.
They were caught up in silly nonsense not naming a QB in fall camp. Dropped winnable games due to non-existent defense, Allen’s bread and butter, and wrote their own pink slips by keeping around coaches like Bell who continued to try to fit square pegs into round holes.
When we played Louisville at Lucas Oil and it looked like Allen had never seen a Brohm offense, the writing was on the wall.
