The FBI executed a search warrant on Monday at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, the former President confirmed to CNN.

Well, one of my prior questions has been answered. Apparently, SOP is for the FBI to inform the Secret Service that they are going to execute the warrant, and the SS detail "facilitates" their entry into the property, but doesn't take part in the search.
That's what's being reported, now by NYT.
Also, Trump wasn't there, he was in New York; also, Secret Service "facilitated" the entry of the FBI but didn't participate.
The FBI is led by Trump's hand-picked appointee.
