Guessing you’ve never been to a high school basketball game at Hinkle.I cannot imagine watching any HS sports if I didn’t have a kid on the team.

Id say put it on your bucket list but the IHSAA, messed with sectionals and regional sites. You guess correctly
Like I said, I'm sure it's a great time for all the parents/family. I don't have any kids in high school sports anymore so not something I can really get excited about.Id say put it on your bucket list but the IHSAA, messed with sectionals and regional sites.
Hinkle is a dump.Guessing you’ve never been to a high school basketball game at Hinkle.
Bad take. Does it have great amenities? No. Great atmosphere has nothing to do with amenities. Amenities are for the corporate and rich.Hinkle is a dump.

I'm an Anderson Indian class of 1970. Many fond memories of that building.I used to love going to my high school games in the Wigwam. Also loved watching players progress that were probably going to IU, like Damon , Yogi etc. All that’s gone now.
Did you know any Caseys? Jeff or Carla?I'm an Anderson Indian class of 1970. Many fond memories of that building.
And Jay and their mom and Dad. Know them all . Lived a couple blocks from us. Carla and I were really close in high school and Jeff was my boyfriend for a week or so. 😎Did you know any Caseys? Jeff or Carla?

Then we have seen many games in the Wigwam. Same graduation class. I grew up in Pendleton. Didn't see a way to send you a DM so posted this reply. Probably the most famous game in the Wigwam was the 1962 Sectional, afternoon game where Anderson beat Pendleton 57-56 in OT on a very controversial call as the game ended. Steve Clevenger hit two foul shots to win and no time left on the clock. Later on Coach Ray Estes and Clevenger said the foul called was never committed.I'm an Anderson Indian class of 1970. was that the final 4 team? and BTW, Coach Estes was my gym teacher. Then we have seen many games in the Wigwam. Same graduation class. I grew up in Pendleton. They lost in the Semi State to Madison. Madison lost to Evansville Bosse in the state finals. Coach Estes was one of my dad's best friends. My dad coached at Pendleton during that time. I always thought the Wigwam was the best place to watch basketball and although probably not allowed in today's world ... Anderson's pregame "war dance" for regular season home games was fantastic.was

I walk through Edgewood every once in awhile with a friend. Was in Anderson last week and had lunch at the newly renovated Toast. Rubys is a new one that is nice too. Or you could go old school with Lemon Drop or Genes.Thanks. I'm going up next month. I'm planning on driving around the old town and doing some reminiscing.

Walked by the Toast every day on the way to school. Those names bring back pleasant memories. I remember the Lemon Drop closed in the winter and the owners went south. Remember Joe's record shop?
