When he plays like that we usually win. He hasn’t had a game like this though in several weeks.
We also had great ball movement and motion on offense. Didn't spend 20 seconds trying to pass it into TJD every possession. Sinking baskets from everywhere. That offense will work against anyone and build our shooters' confidence (even though we missed some open looks tonight).
Might be hard to be consistent when he has no help at PG. Coincidence our bad run happened without RP? I think not.
He was absolutely awesome tonight!! Lots of guys contributed and X played a huge role. He had the answer every time Maryland got on a run.

He came out guns a blazing 2H and was the exact energy we were missing when he left in 1H. We need that kind of energy every night. And like you said, he played under control and within himself.

He was killer last night. I hope he got the game ball. Made 1 or 2 bad decisions but he was having fun. From the dunk to 3s, it was fun to watch. Hopefully, get RP, Trey, and Lander back, beat Minnesota and then Rutgers.

The best answer was by the refs when they called that charge on Maryland with score tied. It really swung the momentum.
He is the Lt. Pete Mitchell (call sign Maverick) of our team. While he is dangerous, he's uber talented. As long as his ego isn't writing checks his body can't cash, he can lead this team to 20 wins or more. I just hope the selection committee sends us to Miramar!

I have said it time and time again how he goes IU goes. The offense needs to go through Xavier not TJD.

And, this might even apply to Miller Kopp, who showed a couple games ago (before he was stupidly yanked) that he can get aggressive and score on his own. We need some more of that.
The last thing IU needs is Kopp trying to do too much and create offense on his own. What IU needs is for each player to play their role to the best of their ability. Kopp’s role should be be knocking down open shots, or shot fake one dribble and pull up for a shot or pass. He should almost never put the ball on the floor more than once. He’s not a skilled ball handler.
