Well Done! Played within yourself and with the flow... Impressive!
When he plays like that we usually win. He hasn’t had a game like this though in several weeks.
Kept his hands on his own nutsHe was absolutely awesome tonight!! Lots of guys contributed and X played a huge role. He had the answer every time Maryland got on a run.
Amazing what happens when you aren't looking for TJD to score every basket. He was absolutely awesome tonight!! Lots of guys contributed and X played a huge role. He had the answer every time Maryland got on a run.
He came out guns a blazing 2H and was the exact energy we were missing when he left in 1H. We need that kind of energy every night. And like you said, he played under control and within himself.Well Done! Played within yourself and with the flow... Impressive!
So, better ball movement?Kept his hands on his own nuts
XJ's poor play is directly related to the loss of his grandfather! 2nd half against 0su and tonight shows the real XMight be hard to be consistent when he has no help at PG. Coincidence our bad run happened without RP? I think n
He's never had a game like that. Few pg in IU history have ever had a game like that. 24 points on SEVEN shots, combined with a solid floor game- Incredible! When he plays like that we usually win. He hasn’t had a game like this though in several weeks.
The best answer was by the refs when they called that charge on Maryland with score tied. It really swung the momentum. He had the answer every time Maryland got on a run.
spoken like a loyal F-14A backseater.....well done Goose! He is the Lt. Pete Mitchell (call sign Maverick) of our team. While he is dangerous, he's uber talented. As long as his ego isn't writing checks his body can't cash, he can lead this team to 20 wins or more. I just hope the selection committee sends us to Miramar!

None of us knew that was going on.....hopefully he keeps it together here on out.............XJ's poor play is directly related to the loss of his grandfather! 2nd half against 0su and tonight shows the real X

Was I wrong? Score tied. Maryland going in for the go ahead bucket. Ref steps in and calls a charge on Maryland when IU player is in the restricted zone. Crowd goes nuts. IU goes on run. Game over.

Hey, I just call 'em as I see 'em. I'm happy @Cavanagh won his bet. He seems like a good man.

As our point guard, the offense should run through him. The lane and three point area are open due to the attention given to TJD.I have said it time and time again how he goes IU goes. The offense needs to go through Xavier not TJD.
Hey, good teams overcome a bad call. Maryland is not a good team. That’s the end of the story.Purdue eats donkey d—-s
One call, good or bad, decides the game? Not too smart are you, Tubbs. I believe this not so good team should have beaten you, albeit a bad no call at end of game, right?Hey, good teams overcome a bad call. Maryland is not a good team. That’s the end of the story.
I don’t understand why you’re having such a problem over it. Try some Metamucil.
He's upset about the IU win. And now apparently Race is a 'thug". LOLOne call, good or bad, decides the game? Not too smart are you, Tubbs. I believe this not so good team should have beaten you, albeit a bad no call at end of game, right?
Clearly, I'm not in your intellectual league, Shakespeare. One call, good or bad, decides the game? Not too smart are you, Tubbs. I believe this not so good team should have beaten you, albeit a bad no call at end of game, right?
You’re a Purdue fan. We already knew thatClearly, I'm not in your intellectual league, Shakespeare.
We are still waiting for his comments on the Mackey **** you chants and this new notion that Race is a "thug"You’re a Purdue fan. We already knew that
With apologies to Arthur Conan Doyle (who can't hear me anyway) for changing his famous words:He was absolutely awesome tonight!! Lots of guys contributed and X played a huge role. He had the answer every time Maryland got on a run.
And, this might even apply to Miller Kopp, who showed a couple games ago (before he was stupidly yanked) that he can get aggressive and score on his own. We need some more of that.Amazing what happens when you aren't looking for TJD to score every basket.
Nice work, Inspector Columbo. You’re a Purdue fan. We already knew that
The last thing IU needs is Kopp trying to do too much and create offense on his own. What IU needs is for each player to play their role to the best of their ability. Kopp’s role should be be knocking down open shots, or shot fake one dribble and pull up for a shot or pass. He should almost never put the ball on the floor more than once. He’s not a skilled ball handler. And, this might even apply to Miller Kopp, who showed a couple games ago (before he was stupidly yanked) that he can get aggressive and score on his own. We need some more of that.
Um … okay? Com not your strong suit. That’s okay.Your intelligence, Sherlock
why are you here?Um … okay? Com not your strong suit. That’s okay.
PssssstAnd to think just a month or so ago many on this board wanted to replace X with Trey or Leal. What a clown show.
