If you're going to officiate by reputation, then McCaffrey should have 2 Ts already in the books when he steps on the court.
Well he gets T’d up a lot. So he doesn’t have a long leash. Thank you for the perfect example
Actually, the clock runs in the 1st and if he catches it and puts it down or does anything they could call it a delay. He threw a pass to the inbounds guy in the chest. The tech was complete BS, and was only given because it was X.
He doesn't get T'd up nearly as much he should. My point is that the refs do but shouldn't allow the past to influence the present. That and making anticipation calls that don't happen are the worst traits a ref can have.
I guarantee JHS, Galloway, TJD, Yogi….those guys don’t get T’d up for it. X is a punk and everyone knows it. Hence the short leash
Might be a punk, but that wasn't a punk move. Shouldn't even have been discussed. You speak of reputations, Hawkins isn't exactly a choir boy. His whining reputation should have been accounted for too. Correct?

If Hawkins catches the ball, non issue. The simple fact that weird-looking jackass was once again whining to the ref caused him to get hit in the chest and maybe chin.
He tossed it intentionally, but that is not a T. It wasn’t a delay of game or taunt. The reaction of two Ill players were more in question. X’s rep hurt him here, which is why I don’t defend him.
Near end of game on out of bounds play, multiple picks were set to get mm open for 3 , he took a step back 3, missed it but play was set up during a T.O.
I agree but that doesn’t make every action a punk move. Need to be able to think critically and judge actions independently. Many can’t
Some of the flagrant fouls being called across college basketball this season are effin ridiculous. Kansas had one called against Iowa State last night that was absurd. Fast break and trailing defender going for the ball made incidental contact with the head of the Iowa State player-Flagrant 1. IU has a rep now so any excuse will get a T.
It’s the new flopping-selling a flagrant foul. X’s latest didn’t rest on salesmanship but Gunn’s had some active marketing and others across college basketball required an active marketing campaign.

Thinking back on a different era, Dr. Tom Davis having a big pressure the inbounds pass and on at least two occasions, the IU player making the inbounds pass give the Iowa player a good facial.

Meh. He, I'm assuming it's a he, really posts some interesting insights and statistical analysis that are a great read. Just gets really full of himself (again an assumption) sometimes.
