Well done by all involved. Anytime Izzo bites it at home, I’m all good!
Really fine all-around effort. Shocked. And happy.credit to Coach for starting the lineup that is our best. No more rice or Malik inn starting lineup. Comes off bench and scores 19 and grabs 12 boards. That’s what we need out of him.
Sad day when we are "shocked" by a win, but here we are. I didn't watch, and didn't even look at the score until today (the next day) because it was one of the ESPN lead stories that IU "stuns" MSU. I don't think i've cared less to know the score since i was an early teenager a few decades ago. Used to be we at least believed we COULD win even if unexpected. But last night i think we all were like "no chance". Sad... Looking forward to being relevant again.Really fine all-around effort. Shocked. And happy.
He goneJust looked at the remaining schedule and frankly IU could possibly run the table. Toughest games are Purdue and at Oregon. If this happens, ego driven Woody will be lobbying to stay and this could end up being a fiasco. 😔
LOL!! Woody IF that happens: “Man, Scott I’m back!! Not going no where!! We got over the hump!! Scott, man, shred that resignation letter…or, I’m calling Quinn.”Just looked at the remaining schedule and frankly IU could possibly run the table. Toughest games are Purdue and at Oregon. The resignation is a polite facade. He was fired. Buckner is a lame duck and completely discredited on picking coaches.LOL!! Woody IF that happens: “Man, Scott I’m back!! Not going no where!! We got over the hump!! Scott, man, shred that resignation letter…or, I’m calling Quinn.”
The only person who thinks he actually resigned is Woody. The resignation is a polite facade. He was fired. Buckner is a lame duck and completely discredited on picking coaches.
Completely forgot they played last night. Didn’t know until I saw it on sports center this morning. Glad for the boys they got a win.Sad day when we are "shocked" by a win, but here we are. And if Dolson is smart, which I know he is, the buyout agreement is already signed. If it isn’t signed yet - it soon will be. And that will remove any Woody comeback scenarios. The resignation is a polite facade. He was fired. Buckner is a lame duck and completely discredited on picking coaches.
I’d guess it was a sit down meeting with Dolson doing most of the talking. And I’d bet anything he made Woody sign it before he announced that flowery retirement thing. And if Dolson is smart, which I know he is, the buyout agreement is already signed. IU will not run the table, sorry won't happen. If they win 50% of their final 6 games it would be a shocker. Playing at home against UCLA isn't a picnic. Flashback: When Romeo was a playing, and IU was in the midst of losing 12 out of 13, the only game they won was at Michigan State. Michigan State was 16-4 in conference, 32-7 overall and lost to lowly IU at home! IU has always played Michigan State tough, why????Just looked at the remaining schedule and frankly IU could possibly run the table. Toughest games are Purdue and at Oregon. Yep, Woody could make a run and it’s all fools gold at this pointHe gone
Bc MSu usually cannot shoot either. Indiana seems to be able to match them in rebounding and has had much better post play during the wins.IU will not run the table, sorry won't happen.
