Work took me to West Lafayette this morning.

There were about a dozen kids lined up outside Harry's at 8:45. Today is their super bowl.

I made a point to leave my IU v. PU parking pass from Rout 66 hanging from my rear view. Just in case any passersby needed a reminder.

Try living there AND going to school there AND working there. I did that for about 11 years (school and working). It was nice talking trash to them after an IU win. They were intolerable after a Purdue win.

Then I got my teaching license (at Purdue as well) and got the heck out of there. I still live about 20 minutes away, but I teach in Illinois.

They say after a few years the barnyard smell isn’t as noticeable, less pungent until it rains. Is that even possible, nostrils to the wind?
