From my quick stellar research, it seems the last time we beat these smart purple dudes was Wednesday Feb 10, 2021 (yeah, you read that right), current streak at 5 straight losses to Northwestern. Wow.
So, Woody may get his shot.
NW has to beat Minnesota, should happen but who knows, Minny is playing well as of late but has lost their last two. And NW is the underdog, also having lost their last two also.
If they beat Minny, next is Wisky, and Wisky is not playing well as of late, just lost to Penn State.
If they beat Wisky, then they have UCLA, and again a winnable game, played them close just a week ago, and Cronin has nothing to play for.
Now, here's the problem:
For Woody, he has to beat Oregon, could happen for a few reasons, not a game that Oregon needs, travel, in Indy, etc.
Say this happens, then he has to beat Michigan State. Yes, he beat them in East Lansing, but that was a long time ago and MSU is playing better, but does Izzo care? So, winnable, right?
If all of the above happens, and the most doubtable part of all of it is Indiana winning two games in the Big Tourney, then Woody will get his shot.
