Wisconsin

I chuckle when the "Wisconsin is surprisingly good" post start. They're solid, to good, basically every single year. They play a style that's difficult to play against early in seasons. But they're Wisconsin. They'll compete for a B10 title. And they'll lose early in the NCAA. Purdue is likely back to that as well.
What bothers me is Indiana i surprisingly bad because we were told, "Oh" how talented they are.

One of the reasons for the offensive change is that they hired Kirk Penney - former Badger from NZ who played professionally overseas for 15 years - to first be an offensive consultant and now on staff as an assistant. He's getting a lot of the credit.
This is becoming more and more common...having offensive and defensive "coordinators" in basketball. Bruce Pearl referenced both. Luke Murray gets a ton of credit for Hurley's dominance the last couple years...as examples. Sounds like Wisky is now doing it with Penney. Smart, and seemingly working well. They have a very, very good and efficient offense right now...despite losing some very talented and important offensive players from last year's team.

I cringe to think of IU's staff in comparison to some of these more scientific/modern principle driven staffs that are out there nowadays.

never bet a dime on our Hoosiers when they play in Kohl. They are O for Kohl.

We'll see if the effort/results in Mackey carry over to the next game and beyond. Looking the remaining schedule, it had better carry over, or we could easily lose 12 conf games this year.

I'd be wary of hoping that the Purdue game carries over... Purdue ran A LOT of pick and roll stuff that focused on Smith and TKR. Both of them are really good, and each of them was successful at times, but that did allow Indiana to not have to guard as much side line to side line. Wisconsin, more like NW, Louisville, seems to move side to side more, attacking gaps on the wings more, and looking for kickouts more. Indiana is downright awful defending teams that play like that. We'll have to hope that Wisconsin misses shots they normally make, tomorrow night, for IU to stay competitive...is my educated guess.

Woodson has consultants as well. They mainly sleep during the games and then hand roll Cuban cigars for him after the loss.

We have not won in Madison since 1998. Woodson's odds are not good imo.

we added a guy to look like he's sleeping to sit next to Woodson, confuses our opponents
