Looking like one of the best wins in the country. Best win in the big ten for sure. They are trending to a 1 seed after beating the red hot badgers.

After watching the game for awhile it seems that the refs just finally get tired of the whining and complaining from Izzo and start calling it his way.

I’ve said this before. One of the best Indiana High School coaches in history was Jack Butcher at Loogootee. He started ripping the referees in warmups and never stopped the entire game. By the second half, he was getting all the calls.

No way. We need to win out and win a game in the BIG to get into tournament. I’ve seen several projections as of today with IU in last 4 out

I mean it’s not unthinkable. We needed an overtime to squeak out a win at OSU and @Oregon is by no means a sure thing.
C’mon man. Don’t kill the buzz. Everyone on the board is currently high thinking we are winning the next two and then going to go on a run and win the big ten tournament. Smoking some real dank sh*t to believe all the hype! LOL.

Honest to God story. I used to referee in the 70’s and 80’s. I had the JV game between Shoals and Loogootee at Shoals. Real big rivalry and I called a charging foul in the last minute of the game against the Loogootee player that gave the ball back to Shoals and they ended up winning. A guy behind the players bench started giving me a rash of crap and I turned around and asked him if he wanted to stay for the rest of the game or if I should kick him out of the gym. He didn’t say anything but stared at me. After the game my officiating partner told me who it was. Needless to say I was never invited to ref at Loogootee after that. By the way that is the game where a Shoals player took out Butchers son and he went after him. Not sure exactly what happened but I believe he did get in some trouble.

lose last two, tourney loss - out
split last two, tourney loss - bubble
split last two + tourney win = in
win last two + tourney loss = in
anything more they might seed us 9 instead of 10 lol

agreed except for the "split last 2, tourney loss= bubble". depends on who that tourney loss would be against.

If it's against a team much further down the NET rankings that we are, then we would be pushing our luck. RIght now our Q2/3/4 record is spotless and it needs to stay that way.

I'd actually prefer the 10 vs 9 seed. I don't want to see Duke over the weekend.

Lunardi had us as last 4 in before this weekend's win, and Palm has us in as 10 seed (above the last 4 in).

This guy has OSU in but IU out....I think OSU's fate is going to be tied to that game in Assembly Hall this weekend. Will be a huge game for both teams, almost feels like a play-in game.

Just beat Oregon. No brainer.
A win @ Oregon would lock things up IMHO. A split of the next two days I feel will be play in round in Dayton before conference tournament. Win the 8/9, probably a 11 or 10. Finish 2-0 and win the 8/9 conf game, could land IU in the 10 seed or 9 seed range. I just atleast hope for a split to end these two conference games. Low standards. OSU at home looks better for what have you done lately, in the moment brackets.

i'd love to take on Duke in the tourney. put our best defender, MM, on Flagg and let him get a taste of what it means to be an NBA lottery pick.

Doubtful. Beat Ohio State and you're in as you would eliminate the Buckeyes. I've never seen a bubble so weak in my life. Oklahoma is 4-12 in the SEC and has won 4 total games in 2025 and is still in many brackets.

had to read this twice to pick up on the sarcasm. In that match up Flagg goes off on us for 50 pts.
yes, I was being sarcastic. but not a smart ass. i want MM to stay at IU and commit to getting a lot better. he has gifts that he seems to refuse opening. next coaching staff could turn that around. but he has to want to do it. or he will be humbled/embarrassed when he goes up against legit players, wherever he lands.
i feel the same way about Tucker.
