Win and IN(diana)

That matters in terms of seeding but in terms of making the show we will jump Miami so we would still be, at worst, the last at-large in.
No—TA&M getting in will cut somebody out.

Safe: ORE/PSU/TEX/UGA/TENN/ND/OSU

In with a win: SMU or CLEM, TA&M (needs two wins), MWC winner, B12 winner

Bubble: IND, SMU (if CLEM beats them), MIA

If TA&M wins the SECCG, one of the three teams is out. I don’t trust the committee won’t have it be us. We need SMU and either TEX or UGA to win their title games, which will open up our spot.

MIA would have the edge over us because of more bowl-eligible wins and a better brand.

Yes - that somebody is Miami.
MIA or SMU get in over us for the reasons I mentioned. Better wins and in the case of MIA a better brand. There are 11 locks. If TA&M loses tonight or next week (they don’t play next week if they lose tonight), that will open our spot, then we need SMU to beat CLEM. That will give room for IND and MIA to both be in. If it comes to one of the two, MIA’s better wins and better brand get the nod.

Miami's defense has been exposed. They are bad and the matter is not in doubt. If Clemson gets in it will be at the expense of Miami - which is what I've been saying for two weeks. The ACC isn't getting three teams. It's either going to be SMU and Miami or Clemson and SMU. On top of that they aren't going to take a 2-loss ACC team over a 1-loss Big Ten Team, sorry. I have already acknowledged that A&M getting in takes away an at-large spot but it doesn't matter because we are no longer the last at-large team in. I understand the point you are making, I just don't agree with it. Your premise is that Indiana is the last team in and my premise is that they are not. There is no need to go round and round about it.
