To add one other thought to my post above. IF the committee does not intend to reseed the brackets based on any results from the conference championship games, then why not lock in the seedings and pairing NOW so the teams will know where/when they will play? The fact the final bracket/seeding will not be announced until after the conference champ games indicates to me the potential is there for seed shifting if nothing else.

They have to reseed as the winners get the byes and the losers need to see where they go or who they get.
