I agree. I think as an AD at some point you have to say "this is not acceptable for IU basketball" and show you intend to change it. Make it clear you are hiring an interim coach and there will be a search for a new head coach at season's end. I don't think they'll do it and will wait until the end of the season, but I think it's justified to end it now.
Look for Dolson to follow the Cig path when looking for a coach. Mid major coach that has had success everywhere he goes. Not sure who that is.

Archie was good at 1 school before he came to IU. Cig had a track record of winning at multiple lower level schools starting at IU Pennsylvania.
I think his management is approaching criminal territory.
Archie had 1 head coaching job prior to IU, a 4-year stint at Dayton. I want someone who is tenured. Has high success possibly at more than 1 school, coached college basketball before and been around the college game. Someone with a resume and with personality. Someone like Bruce Pearl.

Assistant at Stanford when they went to the Final 4. Over the last 11 seasons, 7 first place finishes and 3 second place.
Before anyone comes at me, I'm NOT saying he should be the next coach. Since @Pazhoosier85 asked, I just starting digging for a "Cig like" mid major consistent winner and that's what I found. Not a flash in the pan, but a consistent winner. I wonder what he could do with our facilities and NIL $.
