The IU website says his term is 2022-25 so perhaps he's done this year. I believe he was appointed by the governor so Braun will decide if he stays beyond that.

I really think if they lose Friday he’s fired Saturday. The AD and President don’t want him boo’d in Assembly Hall for 7 more games or whatever it is.

That's not happening lol. It wouldn't surprise me to see zero wins between now and Wisconsin. At that point the environment will be so toxic in Bloomington that he will be told to retire or be fired. Possibly with full buyout.

I believe Buckners term as BOT Fuhrer is up this summer. It would be nice to pick between Beard and May. Beard is locked up until 2030 at 5m base, so I'm sure his buy out would be stout. Dusty's is 4m. That's roughly what we paid our opening night starters. Stretch Woody's remaining 8m out over 8 years, it's not a disastrous situation.

Look for Dolson to follow the Cig path when looking for a coach. Mid major coach that has had success everywhere he goes. Not sure who that is.

The Cignetti path is hiring a proven winner. It doesn’t have to be a mid major guy. Chris Beard is my favorite if Stevens is a no again.

I preferred immediately after the Illini beatdown. That was on the heels of the Iowa beatdown. The women went into the same arena and beat a ranked team. Woodson lost back-to-back 25-point losses. Tom Crean's band of misfits lost two 25-point games with far less talent.

There is a rumor out there that tonight’s game is hugely significant. I’m dubious. However, if Woody remains the Maryland home game next week might be very odd if student boycott comes to pass. That would make a bigger statement to Ferguson and Buckner then the Fire Mike Woodson chants.

I would have gave up my right arm to get tickets to more games when I was a student. But I don't blame the students now for not wanting to show up; I only know IU is playing when I get a chat notification or see a post on Facebook. As opposed to what I used to do, have the games on my calendar so I can be sure to watch them.
