I would take Alford, but he’s not an assistant he’s a head coach. I would do anything to get rid of barbee. I do think he will make his way over to Bloomington and hopefully give Archie some help
Alford might end up in Bloomington in a year or two.
He would be a good hire. I think Archie deserve to get his own players in their first atleast

But I doubt he’s going to end up as an assistant anywhere. He probably ought to look at TV.
I think that’s what he will do till a job he wants opens, that’s what a lot of coaches end up doing
Worked for Crean. And Alford is a better coach than Crean.
You guys should be glad to rid yourself of him. He was whack job. Where he was kissing Zeller, talking crazy to oladipo in front of the cameras, or looking creepy on the sideline, he never struck me as a good head coach. I was so happy we looked passed him as a potential candidate.
He'd be an awful hire. And he'll never be the coach at Indiana, no matter how much he begs for it.
