here is a shocker in the last 30 years we only have had 5 single digit loss seasons, 1 coach has 3 of those and 2 coaches have 1 apiece guess who has the 3 and the 1s
I believe Woody is now 37-36 in BT games.......That's with a consensus AA, two first round draft picks, and buying a team for the man. Enough is enough. Insane.
Actually Woodson is 36-36.
For comparison's sake, Crean was 8-46 his first 3 years, 63-45 his last 6. I would argue the last 6 are the appropriate comparison to Woodson. The best thing Woodson did here was to keep the team together. Just think....we'd be looking at a couple more years of Woodson coaching (at least) if that hadn't happened.
Archie was 33-44, so I guess he's #1 on the Hall of Shame.
I can’t help but think Davis has the three, but could be Crean. One I’ll never forget is the loss to Iowa in the BTT when Davis was coach. I don’t think that was Davis only single digit loss.
I left out Mike Davis, who was 55-41 in BT games. In order of coaching ability I'd go 1. Crean; 2. Davis; 3. Woodson; 4. Archie.

I think CMW wants to be like the old football team and become the losingest CBball program in NCAA history! Not sure who has the record, but keep this up for the next 2-3 decades and it could happen!
Could be......Archie's trouble was relating to people. He could handle the mechanics of coaching, although he did make some poor recruiting decisions. Woodson could recruit if he wanted to. People like him. He's just too old and lazy. And he's flat out the worst game coach of the four.
