For $3.5 million and a well paid staff you'd think the coach you and others have so much faith in his ‘system’ would have made the obvious choice to play the better player...especially when he specifically recruited the less played player over ‘Crean-trash’...

I'm not sure how much Smith will or will not play (I'd guess around 20 minutes), but not one of those players started more games or played more minutes, than Smith, this past season.

That is because they were either injured or not IU yet.
Smith played by being a default healthy body, not because he was better than any of the players mentioned.

I never said he was a good shooter. He’s just better than Davis, Jackson, Thompson and Brunk.
