Why is Brad Stevens trending on Twitter?

“I've said for couple yrs, this ship sailed long ago. But we're a desperate lot, and desperation spawns gullibility. And visa

This describes me perfectly.

Hope is the last to die.

IU has hired Parker Executive Search to assist in finding candidates for the opening. I suppose they could always tell Dolson "this Stevens fellow seems to meet your criteria".
If its a fact that they've hired a search firm...then Stevens isn't a candidate.

Dolson reportedly talks with him regularly, and Dolson has basically known there was going to be an opening for over a year... Wouldn't need the search firm if it were Stevens, obviously.

I would think it also means some of the higher level guys on all our various lists, also, aren't viable candidates.

Google it. It's worth a Google😁

That’s not true. Search firms do more than search for candidates.

And this whole "family vote" thing that showed up this AM...I've now seen this in three places. Just another bit of BS that gets repeated over and over until everyone accepts it as gospel because "they've seen it everywhere." As if Brad Stevens is going to announce that they had a family vote and he was the only one who wanted to leave the Celtics. It's ludicrous.

It may be. The original source is Mark Titus via Tony Adragna. He shared it 3.5 years ago.

Roadtozion saying it is done. He is “usually” correct.

That was last week. Then, three days ago, RTZ said it was we had a 40% chance of getting Stevens. Then, earlier today, the odds recovered a little bit, with a 60% chance of getting Stevens. He will provide another update on Sunday. LOL, can't wait! ;)

Farming false hope....

60%? Hell, I'll offer up a 65% chance of getting Stevens for a few extra clicks.

Technically, Goodman’s post is incorrect according to his source, The Field of 68, as they claim “sources” informed them.

Ho hum. I’m guessing both Goodman and The Field of 68 are seeking more clicks.

I think we probably moved on. We didn't really want him anyway. He didn't fit what Dolson's vision is for our program. If Stevens is worrying about what his family thinks, and not in the gym working on his craft, we don't want him anyways.
Oh that’s nonsense. Dolson wouldn’t stop pursuing him this early without a hard no unless of course he was confident through the back channels that Dusty was a yes. We shall see. I’d be thrilled with Dusty or Beard.

For what its worth...that quote included about how much he enjoys being a Celtic...is basically, word for word, what pretty much everyone says before the end with something like... "but, I feel like I need a different challenge"...

If he actually said the things Goodman and The Field of 68 are inferring, he/they would have included those quotes too.
