You have to hire an older guy with credibility that will win day 1. A Pearl or Sampson type (just examples)
I still believe Jamie Dixon could be real solid here if a handfull fall through before.
Beard it is for me. Call #1. But the flimsy wrist IU admin wouldnt such dare make that call.

Just need someone with a backbone, the experience at a P5, and a solid record. He’s a 70% + winning coach. Love it.
OTZ at Iowa st looks to be the real deal. Teams play great defense and play their ass off.
Dusty May…… all. day long! He’s probably still living out of boxes in Ann Arbor, anticipating a Woody termination this year. May happen sooner, rather than later, especially if there are many more performances like today. And if we can afford to pay Cig what we’re paying him, we can afford Dusty May!
For some reason I thought OTZ and his wife, were pretty entrenched Iowa State people? Not sure why he'd leave what he's now built in to a perennial top 10-15, B12 program, for IU. We need to find someone from mid/lower level D1, or any of the lower divisions, that have proven at multiple stops, to be able to win at a high level, recruit against their peers at a high level, and that they're modern in their philosophies.
