Whom ever is montoring this board, I would be embarrassed by the constant post of negativity and immaturity. I blame those who allow such to continue to be posted. I thought about paying for the premium forum hoping it might be have more mature posters. However. I cannot trust that would be true just because I would pay $10/per month or $100/year. If what I have experienced on the free board for the past couple months is any indication of what the premium board would have NO THANKS!

If there was no negativity there would be no board. Just saying.
Disagreement and concern about the programs are fine and desirable. Unfortunately, many many great knowledgeable posters have been chased off over the past two years by the board cancer Ordfan. The mods allowed it to happen leaving just a few good posters and the remaining cesspool of trolls, PU fans dressed as IU fans, and other idiots. Sad really.
Been there, left it, won't go back. It's just like this board without the trolls, and access to a little more news.

Then go away and search out a head in sand IU message board where you can pay $10 a month to extoll about the virtues of losing 9 of last 10! Gee, I wonder why there aren't many positive posts on here? Sounds like someone who should have got with John Denver, and get with him again. Not to be too hateful, but it's naïve after 9 of 10 losses and expecting crimson glasses on here, cause you don't want to touch the prohibitive $100 a year for the same dope.
Even though I don't like the negativity, I put it up with it. But what really tries my patience are the personal attacks, childish name-calling, and the eventual profanity.
If this is necessary to have a board then I will probably not renew since the enjoyment I get fro being here will no longer justify the expense.
I think this is a great board although people consider me a total douche, I just want to say how passionate I am about IU basketball. As a kid my best memories are of my father saying he had an extra ticket for a midweek IU game. I would do my homework on the ride down and watch IU dismantle a rival at Assembly Hall. IU basketball is the reason I chose to go to IU. It wasn’t their academics or their prestige it was my love of IU. If my passion has offended anyone I’m sorry, but I’m just saddened at where our program is!

Yeh, this is pretty toxic forum. It is filled with with trolls and folks who want to hide behind a keyboard and act all tough and push buttons. That said, it is a bit entertaining to see some of the silliness that is posted. It's fine if folks don't like Archie but feel the need that every post they make is a complaint about him. But just like bad TV it easy to change the channel. This channel gives a few laughs everyday. In fact if were on TV, fpeaugh would be a star with schtik of an act.
i don't understand what is so hard about using the ignore button? i started here a few months ago and right out of the chute i blocked rinky dinky tava and fauxpeaugh, and a few others and posting here became enjoyable. over the months a added a couple more. loserbear is next. why people refuse to use the ignore function and then complain about folks that annoy them here is beyond me. the only possible reason is that you enjoy being insulted or verbal sparring on some level. everyone here controls the posts they are subject to. deal with it yourself and stop complaining about the mods
You can ignore those posters but you can still see the other posters arguing with them so it still clogs up the board.
The sunshine pumpers are the guilty party of name calling. That is undeniable. The skeptics (aka negative posters if you are a snowflake) are allowed their opinions and comments too. I personally find a total homer board too nauseating. Defeats the purpose of having a "rivals" board and actual a little smack talk with outsiders.

Rikki has been missing in action. Guess his daily 4 or 5 threads a day waned off quickly once the losing streak started. I don't block anyone as I'm not thin skinned as you are. But you are right about others complaining about anybody. There is an ignore function but at the same time you could be missing out on a lot that could make following a thread nearly impossible.
