Where is Nigel Pack rated {U Miami].....

#1. In my heart.
He's not eligible currently. Needs to be cleared for a medical RS. Which is why he's probably not in any ranking.

Signing him while not eligible could possibly drive other starter level PG away, with a chance he gets denied. It would be prudent to not make any type of commit until he is cleared.

Copy that. Don’t doubt this for a second!

Who cares about portal rankings? It’s about fit.
Kelly32 and Ulrey.... I merely asked a question. Does it make you feel superior to by acting like I don't know how important fits are to a team? I was looking and couldn't find his rating is why I asked. Thank you fromtheburchs for asking my very simple question. Sorry there has to be some on here that can do nothing but toss out their spiel. I really like this site. Sad some of these have to interject in this way.

Don’t take everything so personal. You’ll like this site even more.

a lot of people think Ulrey is dumb, I agree with a lot of people

He has started 121 of 122 games and has over 1700 points averaging over 32 mpg, with a career 3pfg% of 40%, and a 3.3 assist/TO ratio. 1.3 TPG last year.

He would be a 6th year senior starter. I don't know, does that sound valuable to you?

Yes.

With the next expected signee also being a 40%+ shooter that could give IU 4 of them if Goode also gets cleared. Three perimeter starters that have shot 40% or more, and one off the bench would be nice. Add a vet PG scoring threat like him to tie it all together. Sure.

He's more scorer than facilitator - nothing wrong with that - but be he'd be backed by two to three additional players who can set others up. It's a fit on paper.

I like him a lot. Very likely to get another year as he only played 8 games early in the year.

He's never been a big assist guy but he's steadily gotten better. In 2023-24 he averaged 5.6 assists v. 1.7 TOs for every 40M played....for his career it's 1.8 to 1 but has been improving. He also averaged 3.9 rebs for every 40M played in 2023-24, which isn't bad at all for a 6'0" guy.

Downsides---Probably extremely expensive, but we're not paying it, right. Only a 1 year guy. And only 6'0" and not known to be a defender. Also, can he be 100% after his injury?

May be wrong on this, but seems like a pretty good guy and teammate. Purdue wanted him, which says a lot.

Other issue---one 6'0" guard and one 6'1", both for only one season. And I like the Lewis decommit kid as a possible recruit. I believe he's 6'1". So 3 short PGs on 1 team, potentially. Not ideal, but we'll be a mix and march team next year whatever we do.

Whatever the downsides, if he's back 100% I'd love to see him here next year. It would bring a lot of excitement and interest for the program.

He was on the team that beat IU a few years ago wasn't he?? They had that really good guard whose name escapes me right now.

Being obsessed with player rankings is what got IU in this mess in the first place,Woodson had zero idea how to recruit or even what to look for.
