sad truth, we are firing a coach who was 4-4 against the winningest coach in PU history.

As for woulda coulda with Jacobson, just stop it. We can play that game....sans a couple injuries to May/Henderson and we probably have 2 more banners hanging. (those are to acknowledge NCAA championships, in case you weren't aware). And May/Henderson were established stud all americans. Not some tall kid who played one game his entire career against mighty Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

You still know and apparently think a lot more about IU's team and season than most of us know or care about Purdue's....some things never change.

Face it, last year was your best shot. And the team blew it. You won't see it again.

Purdue guards are 82-20 in their three years (80%) playing probably a top three schedule in those years, Purdue had some pretty big years with Ivey and Edwards. You wonder how much better Purdue would have been with their 7'-4" starter Jacobsen had not broke his leg? 40 or 50 backcourts, really? It was one game Chester, do not try to over spin!
IU still has only won 3 out of their last 11, and still on the outside of the BUBBLE! But they look like they will qualify for the BT Tournament, WOW!

They're 19-9 so far without him. So roughly 67%, or so... Which is basically the exact type of team I predicted they'd be before the season, when Catchings left and FatBoy went on his rant about "I recruit guys that go to the gym, not the ones that have girlfriends..." or whatever the hell he said.

Purdue is Creighton...maybe Texas Tech... Cute little solid program you got up there. Low ceilings now that Edey is gone. That's cool, it makes the Amish Leprechaun feel big. Go ahead and pound your concaved chests to 20 win seasons, 4-6 seeds in the NCAA, and every other year getting your ass beat by some non skilled, athletic, 13 seed.

Its been embarrassing, truthfully, having to admit your program has been better than IU the last few years. I suspect that's about to come to an abrupt end. But even if it doesn't...my memories of hanging banners will give me peace and solace that there IS hope for my Hoosier program. Because as my man Andy said..."Remember Hoosier fans, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and because we've been there, our hope will never die."
