I would disagree with the statement that Maryland is a mediocre team. I was impressed with the talent on that squad. Athletic big men and deadly shooters. Just beat a tough Illinois team on the road. They will win a game in the tournament.

April 19th (noon) and at the basketball game today around 7 minutes into the first half during a break, they brought out the Hoosier football team carrying the Old Osken Bucket, the Spitton and Cig jumped on the mic to thank the crowd and tell them that “we’re just getting started.”

The entire crowd got up, gave a standing ovation and it was as loud if not louder than any point in that arena during the last 4 years. Fans were taking selfies with the players. You could tell that this was the most positive excitement in the building today. There were conversations after this going on around me talking about Mendoza and buzz about the spring game.
