That's kind of what I deem a necessary surface disclaimer before you even get into whether you agree with what the formulas can reasonably take into account and how they account for it. Do their variables and constants make sense?
But, according to Evan Miya, IU has played approximately 45 different five-man combinations for what combines for 901 possessions. The average number of possessions IU has per game is probably right around 70, or 1,050 on the year, so that right there doesn't quite jive exactly.
