Kelly Quinlan, who runs the USF Rivals site, messaged me and told me Tom Allen to IU as the D.C. is a done deal based on what he has heard. He said he is a little surprised he took it because it is his understanding he turned down the same position at Auburn. He said Allen is a good guy and a great recruiter. He called it a good hire FWIW.
I have reached out to IU and they are not confirming but this looks to be pretty much a done deal. I would expect them to make announcement sometime today. Maybe later after the BB game.
