Greg McDermott is the betting favorite to become the next IU coach.
Ben McCollum would be my top choice (like anyone gives a rat's ass about what I think).
He can flat out coach and has proven it at every level. He clearly motivates players and gets the most out of them (unlike what we've been watching for far too long at IU).
All the other crap getting thrown around is nothing more than BS. He can keep enough staff to handle the NIL, and Dolson will do everything possible to ensure his success. The other shit is manageable. We want some who can coach.
Everyone loves an underdog becoming a success story.

Because it's IU and their decision making has been lackluster when it comes to the men's hoops program.
Yeah, he’s .600 at Clemson, which doesn’t make me thrilled. He’s 26-5 this year, but the ACC sucks.
Steve Forbes was 30-4 at East Tennessee State. He hasn't even made the tourney since he got to wake forrest.

I would say the odds are very good that Gregg Marshall or Brad Stevens is the next coach because Billy Donovan didn't get a high enough offer from Dolson.
