I read somewhere earlier this week from some Bracket guru that Indiana's "ceiling" with respect to seeding in the NCAA tournament was a 6 seed. Is that a fair assessment of the potential of this team?
After last night, IU's RPI is up to 32 and pomeroy actually has IU moving in the right direction up to 40 (still behind the likes of Florida and Georgia?)
Anyhoo, I don't believe for a second we will end up at 15-3 in the B1G, but I think IU has a lot in front of them. It's now not ridiculous to think IU could finish 2nd in the B1G. Does an IU team with what? 4 wins already over top 25 teams thus far and has the potential to finish in the top 3 in the B1G not have a higher ceiling than a 6 seed?
Am I putting cart before the horse thinking IU could make it to a 4 seed?
thoughts?
