What a season... every reason to be proud.

... 11-2

Honestly, I never thought I'd see the day when IU would finish a season with a record like that.

Thank you Coach Cignetti.... and thank you to all of the players who made this season possible.

You made IU proud.
As disappointing as I was tonight, ND just had better personnel. Hell, I was just hoping we’d win our fair share of 50/50 games this year and we did more than that. This coach is top notch. Best we’ve had. We set the benchmark maybe too high this first year by winning 11 games and now fans are going to be disappointed if we go 8-4 or 9-3.
But for a program that just wanted to get to bowls as a major achievement, this is far better than that. I can live with that.

100%! This was so much fun for me and my family. Made it to 4 games this year and inspired me to buy season tickets for next season. Can’t wait for spring ball! But gonna miss the seniors who have given us a lifetime of memories.

Ticket applications are already way up. I put mine in today and got extra tickets for next year because as the season went on, more people were coming out of the woodwork asking for me if I had extras.

It was a great first season with a new coach. If we were told that IU would go 8-3 and get a bowl invitation, I would have said hell yeah! Good luck with that.
This game was a reality check. but if you take away the 98 yarder, it would be a whole lot different.
Would a neutral site have changed the outcome? Maybe. I don't think any of the home teams will lose today.
THANKS COACH for a great season!

Not the outcome we wanted obviously but man we can a long way in one year.
The program is in great hands and it’s only going to get better
Need to get some help in portal and I’m sure Cig is working on it.
My hats off to Rourke, yeah he had a tough night but a lot of QB’s would’ve in that environment.
Can’t help but think how different the game would have been if played in Bloomington or for that matter a neutral field.
