One B1G conference game in that span. On a call that 9 times out of 10 would’ve gone the other way. Not because the refs made a “bad”call or the “wrong” call but because historically that’s been IU’s fate in conference games.

The publically stated reason for Coach Mallory’s dismissal was his conference record his final two seasons, which I believe was 1-15.

The covid season is going to bite us. It probably bought allen another season no matter how bad we do.

Yes, Mal lost15 in a row…all 8 in ‘95, most not close. Then in ‘96, his team played much better, leading at half in all of the first 5 vs Illini, NU, UM, PSU, Iowa only to lose all of them. Gets fired, blown out at MSU, comes back and gives OSU all they wanted. Then beat PU in toilet bowl vs Colleto.
