This came up in my YT feed and I had forgotten about it. I was there and I don’t remember a crazier atmosphere in Assembly Hall.
I would say for the Duke/IU Sweet 16 game in ‘02 I was at Ozzies in StL. It was literally packed with Indiana alum, you seriously couldn’t move. It was so bad my daughter got scared so I put her on my shoulders, and when Coverdale hit the little turnaround jumper from the baseline that bounced 18 times on the rim before it dropped, to give us our first lead in the game, the place erupted, my knees went weak and I almost dropped my kid. Nuts, it was NUTS.

I guess the Kentucky game in ‘11 was the most out of control than all, again from a positive side.
