Got drunk after that disaster and attempted to jump off the highest point of my roof but slipped on an icy shingle just as I was about to launch from the peak, slid down the length of the side of the roof, ripping a section of guttering off, and hitting a tree limb which put me into a half flip, landing me momentarily on my feet before my momentum brought me down on my back, bouncing my head off the wet turf...; resulting in only a slight concussion, sprained ankle, and sprained wrist, also a slightly separated shoulder, plus scrapes and assorted bruises...

Moral of the story... : Never become too invested in your sports fandom... Eventually they nearly always let you down...

😉😎🍺🙈

If You had just jumped off the Bandwagon, You would have probably only broken your ankle. at least You didn't throw a glass at your $2,000 state of the art big screen projection TV and break it.

😞 Did that right before I climbed on the roof...

If you see a guy on crutches at Best Buy looking at Big Screens with and INDIANA Football T-shirt on that's me...

Haven't let me down all season, especially last night. Evidently the bandwagon has left your house.

Nah…every fanbase is passionate about their teams and every fanbase gets letdown at some point. We’re not unique. IU was down 14 at half. We got beat by a better team. Every first round game, so far, the halftime scores are big leads. IU, SMU and Clemson. IU was down 11. SMU was 21 points. Clemson is 18 points in the hole right now. We still had a great first year under Cig and don’t care what the talking heads say. They get paid to stir the pot. Take a look at the CFP history when it was 4 teams. A bunch of blowouts in those semi-final games. Notre Dame got obliterated in 2018. Clemson routed OSU prior to that year 31-0. Shit happens.

Sigh... 🙄 It's a J O K E

Last night was frustrating watching the offense struggle so much but other than the long run the defense played well [not perfect but well]. It has been a great year of IUFB and I can't wait until next season rolls around.
Yup and adding the moral to the story, better OL, better offense.

The more emotionally attached you are to your sports team, the more brutal the losses are. However, the highs when you win are so much better. I loved checking the stats, rankings, reading articles, watching videos, waiting for weekly CFP rankings all season long. Well worth every second of the losses we had. You get out what you put in.

Sorta sounded like a Clark Griswold misadventure.

Bears fan, too...

I don't think you will make our gymnastics team with that performance!

The problem in our history is that when we have success and national attention is when we lay an egg. Now next year nobody other than our fan base will believe in us.

People have short memories. They will remember that Indiana had a very good season and then lost to somebody..

Like the Nebraska game? Every pundit said we were frauds then and would get beat. What is this “history” you speak of? This is literally the first year we made any kind of significant run. We hot beat by two really good teams. And fortunately, Cignetti doesn’t have the same care about the outside noise and critiques that everyone frets over. It’s the rat poison he’s mentioned before.

Ok So I will do a short history lesson in 1967 we upset Purdue and get to the Rose Bowl, but only get a field goal against USC. In 1987 we had a chance to go back to the Rose Bowl, but lose big to Michigan State. Those were about the only times we were on tv. We get attention in 2007 with Hep's death and the field goal to beat Purdue, but lose again in the bowl. In 2020 we received a lot of attention with LEO but again fell apart in the bowl. Then everyone expected a lot from us in 2021 and I do not need to explain what happened Niw our performance against ND is causing our season to be discredited and saying we were not deserving.
